It was a bit expected, but Mike Yeo finally took his decision.
Keith Yandle will be a healthy scratch tonight, which means that his ironman streak is over. He hasn't missed a game since March 26, 2009. That represents 989 games.
Hell of a run for the Flyers defenseman.
If some people totally understand the decision, others are a bit upset because Yandle could've reached 1000 games. But it's not going to happen.

The 35-year-old handled the news in a very classy way.
"It's just one of those things you know is going to happen toward the end of the year when you're signing young guys and getting free agents out of college, they're going to give them a chance to play (...) You've got to respect that out of the business side of it and what they're trying to do here," said Yandle.
