A 1-2 punch of heavy play and great offense was what the Philadelphia Flyers of the 70's were known for. These were the days of Dave Schulz and Bobby Clarke.

Even though Mann may not be a great skater, he can beat players on dump-ins and begin the transition into offensive play early. Not to mention, he has a nice shot that can be developed as a two-way player.
