"There is something new about Tortorella and the Flyers" -Kevin Weekes

As we reported yesterday, the rumours that the Flyers and John Tortorella have linked up are indeed true.
In a new twist, NHL official insider Kevin Weekes tweeted out today that the interview between Tortorella and Chuck Fletcher's team has happened.
"I can confirm John Tortorella is one of the Coaches that has interviewed with the @NHLFlyers for their HC vacancy."

On top of Jim Montgomery and Barry Trotz, Fletcher has many options this season. Rick Bowness has also been recently been made available from Dallas.
Torts has most recently been in the NHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets where he had a few good seasons before relationships soured with players like Pierre-Luc Dubois and Patrik Laine.
Torts is also the first American-born NHL coach to reach 500 wins and has won the Jack Adams award twice as the NHL's top coach.
He also led the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Stanley Cup Championship in 2004.
