Without a doubt, the Flyers have had many legends through the years and past stars who take us back to the franchise's glorious days.
With the season at an end, it's now time to speculate and wonder about which former Flyer deserves and is in line to have its number retired to the rafters at Wells Fargo Centre.
A name that has been floating around is Flyers legend number 10, John LeClair. He was arguably one of the biggest names in Philly sports lore for about a decade, a time where he played with legend and line mate Eric Lindros.
From 1994-95 to the 2003-04 season, LeClair was a man amongst boys, putting up legendary and all-star numbers.
He totalled 90 or more points and 50 or more goals three times each. He was also the first American born sniper to score three 50-goal campaigns. In total, he notched 643-career points in Philly, ranking 7th in franchise scoring.
Is he deserving of the honor bestowed on past legends?
