"The Philadelphia Flyers have cut their roster down and seem ready to go to start the season. One interesting note though, is that forward Chris Stewart has yet to be released from his PTO. Head coach Alain Vigneault has already given hints that Stewart still has some NHL juice left in him and could make an NHL roster, but just not the Flyers. With Stewart still around, but not playing in today's afternoon game in Europe, Vigneault was asked about Stewart again. ""He's not playing tonight. I know that Chuck talked to his agent. He's in the mix but at this time we don't have a contract available and cap space available. But he's certainly played well, he's got our attention. Just have to sort out the puzzle.""With James van Riemsdyk down to the third line with Lindblom, the only spot would really be on the fourth line but that's likely secured by Raffl and Twarynski. Stewart has registered two fights and two assists in the preseason, do you think he's earned himself a roster spot?
