"The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher made a big announcement on Thursday. Fletcher revealed that forward Nolan Patrick had been diagnosed with migraine disorder and wouldn't be ready for the start of the season. Patrick had been sidelined throughout training camp with an ""upper body injury"" and hadn't received the green light to skate with the team. Following the announcement, Fletcher went into a bit more detail regarding Patrick's condition. ""Nolan has a family history with migraines & has had them since minor hockey. He's on medication course we are hopeful will resolve it. He took a puck to the head in Long Island last year. But our doctors and the specialists are comfortable that it's not concussion.""
