After the Philadelphia Flyers were eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs, we luckily got a boost of good news from a couple of prospects. Goalie prospects Alex Lyon and Carter Hart grabbed headlines for outstanding performances and racking up hardware, making the Flyers future between the pipes hopeful. On the blueline, things are a bit different, a big group of fans don't want to see Radko Gudas or Andrew MacDonald back, and some have lost all hope in Brandon Manning as well. That makes the latest news surrounding top defensive prospect Samuel Morin tougher to swallow. Once again the Flyers prospect was injured, this time during the Lehigh Valley Phantoms marathon against the Charlotte Checkers. Morin suffered what appears to be a knee injury and was on crutches after the game. The Flyers young blueliner made the team out of camp but didn't end up playing, he was eventually called back up at the end of October but the Flyers discovered he was injured. Morin was also injured during the Phantom's outdoor classic midseason. Check out his latest injury in the video below, a knee injury is always scary.
