Just when all hope seemed lost, the Philadelphia Flyers are slowly starting to turn things around. Even though the Flyers lost last night in Montreal during a shootout and are 3-6-1 during their last 10 games, they've racked up 7 points in their last 4 games and look like they've got some life again. While Carter Hart is putting together a nice bounce back season, Martin Jones isn't replacing Brian Elliott the way the Flyers had hoped. Jones has a 3.37 goals against average and .908 save percentage. That's why according to one NHL insider, the team is looking at possibly acquiring one of the Columbus Blue Jackets goalies. Eklund from HockeyBuzz reports that the Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher are showing interest in Joonas Korpisalo. Korpisalo is in the final year of his deal before he hits free agency next season and likely won't get paid by the Blue Jackets after they signed Elvis Merzlikins to an extension. The 27 year old doesn't have much better numbers than Jones as he holds a 3.79 goals against average and .891 save percentage. Eklund believes he could benefit from a fresh start and play 1B better to Hart than Jones. Would you like to see Fletcher take a shot on the goalie?
